📜Google's Dying, AI is rising. Here's What to do

Get seen by AI tools like ChatGPT

Hey, it’s Dr. Marcella Wilson.

We’re in July, and while most people are thinking about vacays and beach days, I want you thinking visibility because AI search has changed everything.

The truth?
AI search is replacing Google and what you post now affects whether people will find you this Q4.

You’re about to learn:

  • Why traditional search isn’t working anymore

  • How tools like ChatGPT, TikTok, and Perplexity are reshaping discovery

  • A simple way to “train the algorithm” to recommend your business

  • And why July is your make-or-break moment for Q4 visibility

Ready to get seen in AI? Let’s go!

PROMPT OF THE WEEK

Can AI “See” Your Business?

This week, I’ll show you how to get your content seen by ChatGPT and other AI platforms (without learning any code or tech stuff). First, let’s try this simple prompt to see how AI understands your brand right now:

“Based on my website and social media presence, how would you describe my business and what I offer?”

Try it in ChatGPT and see what comes back. If it doesn’t sound like you or doesn’t even know what you sell, you’ve got some visibility work to do.

BEYOND THE SCROLL

They’re Not Googling Anymore. Are You Ready?

Let’s be honest, we all used to rely on Google for everything:

“What’s the best planner for 2025?”
“Where can I get personalized gifts for teachers?”
“Why is my Instagram post not getting views?”

But in 2024, something massive happened…

People stopped Googling.
And they started asking AI.

What's Happening to Google?

According to multiple studies and live user behavior, Google search traffic is declining for the first time in 22 years. People are not googling for product recommendations, how-tos, and niche searches.

People now turn to:

  • ChatGPT for quick answers and research

  • TikTok to visually explore trends

  • Perplexity.ai, You.com, and other AI-driven platforms to “summarize” the best choices

  • Even Pinterest, which is quietly becoming an AI-powered discovery engine

Why? Because traditional search results are crowded, ad-filled, and hard to trust.
AI, on the other hand, offers fast, personalized, no-scroll-required answers.

The Rise of AI Search = AI Visibility Wake-Up Call

But here’s what most entrepreneurs and small business owners don’t realize:

AI isn’t just answering questions, it’s deciding who gets seen.

That includes:

  • Who shows up in “gift ideas” lists

  • What products are suggested when someone says, “I need a funny mug for my friend”

  • Which businesses get summarized, recommended, or completely ignored

And unlike Google, AI doesn’t rely on backlinks, domain authority or keywords buried in a blog.

It’s learning from your content—right now:

  • Your Instagram captions

  • Your product listings

  • Your emails

  • Even your hashtags.

If You Wait Until Q4, It's Already Too Late.

AI tools don’t learn overnight. They’re constantly indexing content, categorizing you, ranking you, and deciding what to show people based on what you’ve shared consistently.

So when the holiday rush hits and your audience is asking:

“What’s a good self-care gift for women?”
“Where can I buy something unique for my best friend?”

AI will pull from what it already knows.
And if you haven’t been showing up online in July, August, and September?
You probably won’t be part of the answer.

This is why I call July the “Preseason for Q4.”

How to Start Training AI NOW! (aka: “Don’t Panic. Just Do These 3 Things”)

Let’s keep this simple. You don’t need to change your whole business.
You just need to start creating content that helps AI recognize you.

Here’s a simple 3-step process to start showing up in AI search starting today.

  1. Choose 3 Core Keywords or Phrases

These should clearly describe your offer or product. Think like your customer:

  • “Custom pet portraits”

  • “Christian T-shirts for moms”

  • “Menopause-friendly skincare”

Once you have them, repeat them everywhere:

  • Instagram bio

  • Product descriptions

  • Social captions

  • Pin titles

  • Email subject lines

  1. Create 1 Piece of Content for Each Keyword This Week

Don’t overthink it. Just create something … a short Reel, an Instagram carousel, a blog post, a Facebook post. Create content in whatever format you’re already using.

Just make sure:

  • The keyword is in the caption or image text

  • You mention what problem it solves

  • You connect it to your offer/store

Example:

“Struggling with hot flashes and dry skin? You’re not alone. That’s why we made this clean, menopause-friendly moisturizer with real women in mind.”

You’ve now made your offer clear and trainable for AI to find later.

  1. Link It All Together

This is the part most people skip.
AI isn’t just watching what you post. It’s watching how your content connects.

So when you mention a product on Instagram, link to the product page.
When you send an email, use the same keywords you used in your post.
When you post a blog, include your store name, links and hashtags.

The more consistent and connected your ecosystem is, the easier it is for AI to recognize you as a trusted source.

Remember: AI Doesn’t “Guess” What You Sell.

It looks for patterns.

If your brand message changes every week, or you’re being too vague (“You’ll love this!”), AI doesn’t know who you are.

But if you clearly repeat what you do and who it’s for?

AI will start to file you under exactly what people are searching for.

SCROLL-STOPPING TAKEAWAY

July Is the Most Important Visibility Month of the Year

Forget pumpkin spice for a second.
July is when you plant the seeds that grow into Q4 sales.

If you show up clearly, consistently, and on-topic now, AI will start pushing you toward the right buyers by October.

If you don’t?

You might post like crazy in December and hear nothing but crickets.

Next Week: AEO - What the heck is AEO and why it matters more than SEO

We’ll break down the difference between SEO and AEO. We’ll learn what it is, how it works and how to make it your secret weapon. But more importantly, you’ll learn why one is fading while the other is your golden ticket to visibility in 2025 and beyond.

BEHIND THE PROMPT

If AI Can’t Categorize You, It Can’t Recommend You

The truth is, AI doesn’t boost random posts. It boosts patterns.

That’s why what you share this month is shaping how AI tools like ChatGPT categorize your business for the holiday season.

If you’re not showing up consistently with the right message, the algorithm simply won’t know who you are - no matter how great your product is.

That’s where the Seen + Sold Kit comes in.

It gives you:
✅ Done-for-you post prompts that are optimized for AI visibility
✅ A proven formula to help the algorithm connect your content to what buyers are searching for
✅ A fast-track system for showing up consistently across your platforms without guessing what to say

You don’t need to post more—you just need to post smarter.
The Seen + Sold Kit shows you how.

P.S. - With all the time I saved using AI last week, I finally started watching Ransom Canyon on Netflix. It’s giving Yellowstone … if Yellowstone had a smaller budget and more romance 😅. It started off slow but now I’m fully invested. Definitely a “chick flick” for lazy Sunday afternoons.
